For remuneration to\nExecutive Board members and of the members of the Supervisory\nBoard, please refer to the disclosures under <a href=\"#41-corporate-bodies\">Note (41) Corporate\nBodies<\/a>. Sundry other receivables include a receivable from the sole\nshareholder of PCC SE in the amount of \u20ac 0.1 million (previous year:\n\u20ac 0.3 million). This receivable is short-term in nature and, as in the\nprevious year, bears interest at 6.0 % p.a.  \n<br><br>As of December 31, 2024, the PCC Group had receivables from affiliated\ncompanies not included in the consolidated financial statements\nfor reasons of materiality totaling \u20ac 5.4 million (previous year:\n\u20ac 6.1 million). These are loans, trade accounts receivable and shortterm\nloan receivables. The intercompany financing arrangements\nbear interest rates of between 6.5 % p.a. and 10.0 % p.a.  \n<br><br>In principle, sales to or purchases from related parties are made at\nstandard market \/ arm\u2019s length prices. The outstanding items at the\nend of the fiscal year are not secured, do not bear interest and will be\nsettled in cash. There are no guarantees for receivables from related\nparties or liabilities to related parties.  \n<br><br>As of the reporting date, there were loan receivables from the joint\nventure OOO DME Aerosol amounting to \u20ac 12.5 million (previous\nyear: \u20ac 13.9 million). As in the previous year, they bear interest at\n10.0 % p.a. The loans were granted for the development and construction\nof a dimethyl ether plant on the premises of the joint venture\npartner. In addition to the disclosures and ratios\nrequired by these standards, the PCC Group uses and publishes\nalternative performance measures (APMs). These are not subject to\nthe regulations of the accounting standards. The PCC Group determines\nand uses APMs in order to facilitate comparability of key performance\nindicators over time and within the international business\nenvironment. These performance measures are used both in the\nassessment of external third parties and also internally for the management\nand control of business units.  <br><\/br>\n\nDetermination of these performance measures is by addition, subtraction,\nmultiplication or division of individual or several items in\nthe consolidated balance sheet and the consolidated statement\nof income. The APMs were applied unchanged from the previous\nperiod. The PCC Group determines the following alternative performance measures:<br><\/br>\n\n<ul>\n<li> EBIT\n<li> EBITDA\n<li> Net debt\n<li> Net debt \/ EBITDA leverage ratio\n<li> Return on capital employed (ROCE)\n<li> Capital employed\n<li> Gross profit\n<li> Gross margin<\/li>\n<\/ul><br>\nEBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) serves as a measure of operating\nprofit without taking into account differing international\ntaxation systems and differing financing structures.
